Grandma Pam's Twinkie Cake ... a meal in itself!
Strawberry Twinkie Cake
1 pkg (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding
1-3/4 Cup milk
1 cup chopped strawberries
20 Twinkies (2 boxes)
1 32-oz container of Cool Whip
Sliced strawberries (for top of cake)
Prepare pudding to pie-filling directions. Fold in chopped strawberries. Let stand 10 minutes. Arrange 10 twinkies in the bottom of a 9" springform pan, cutting to fit. Spread pudding mix on top of Twinkies. Top with remaining 10 Twinkies. Spread 1 cup Cool Whip on top of Twinkies. Refrigerate for 4 hours, or overnight. Remove sides of pan, and frost remaining cake with Cool Whip. Top with sliced strawberries. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Serves 12-15.

Alternate fillings
Chocolate Peanut Butter
Substitute chocolate pudding, and fold in 1/2 cup peanut butter. Top with chocolate and PB chips.
(274 calories per slice)
Banana-Caramel
Substitute Butterscotch pudding, fold in 2 chopped bananas. Press 2 cups toasted coconut onto sides of frosted cake, and drizzle top with 2 TBS caramel sundae topping.
(262 calories per slice)

Bon Jovi Takes Over Chicago for an A&E TV Special!
Monday night on the north side of Chicago, Bon Jovi walked into their own basement bar, complete with a few pinball machines, bottles on the wall, and neon signs hanging from the ceiling. With a few guitars plugged in & a 1-2-3-4 count-off from drummer Tico Torres, the New Jersey rockers opened their A&E special with the title track to their "Lost Highway" CD, bringing the audience to their feet for the entire show!
Jon Bon Jovi later said he'd only agreed to do the special on two conditions: 1) that they could perform each song on the album, in order, front-to-back, and 2) that they could do it in Chicago!
Dropping stories between the songs, the band praised Big & Rich for the anthem "We Got It Going On" as well as LeAnn Rimes' influence on "Stranger."
Choosing to end the show with some of their biggest hits, the 3-song encore included "It's My Life," "Wanted Dead or Alive," and "Who Says You Can't Go Home."
With Trish Biondo describing the show in one word ("AMAZING!"), my wife Jill & I thought it was one of those once-in-a-lifetime, intimate, fantastic experiences. Plus, it's a good thing you get to be a part of it now too, as the TV special airs on A&E November 10th, with the DVD release November 13th.

I met Kim and her roommate Mindy (Kim's on my left) after the show ... turns out Kim's dad was my high school MATH teacher! Having not seen her for YEARS, I remember her being much younger! It was great to catch up ...

Jill & I joined Lisa & Ray at the Sox game ... and look where we landed!
We scored two tickets in the Lisa & Ray section during US*99.5 Country Night at Sox Park ... and while getting food during the 5th inning, we ran into our good friend, Meg!
Not only did she put is in the front row of Section 138, but she also posed with her World Champs 2005 Sox diamond-encrusted ring!
The best seats I've ever had ... I even caught a baseball, rolled over the top of the dugout (gave it to a kid two rows behind us)!
