1. HOW TO ENTER
a. The Kenny Chesney Soundstage Website Contest (the “Contest”) will begin on Friday, April 4, 2008 at 12:00 P.M. Central Time (“CT”) and end on Friday, April18, 2008 at 12:00 P.M. CT (the “Contest Period”).
b. To participate in the Contest, you must enter via the following method: Log onto www.us99.com, click on the Contests page link, and click on the Kenny Chesney link. Enter your first and last name, complete address, city, state, zip code, home telephone number, date of birth, and a valid email address in the online entry form. One (1) Internet entry per person and one (1) Internet entry per email address is permitted. Internet entries will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry. The authorized account holder is the natural person who is assigned to the email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization that is responsible by assigning email addresses or the domain associated with the submitted email address. All entries submitted become the sole property of WUSN and will not be acknowledged or returned. For purposes of these Official Rules, “receipt” of an online entry will be solely determined when the www.us99.com web server records the entry information. Any automated computer receipt (such as one confirming delivery of email) does not constitute actual receipt of an entry form for purposes of these Official rules. Use of any device to automate entry is prohibited. WUSN’s computer is the official time keeping device for this Contest.
c. WUSN is not responsible for entries not received due to difficulty accessing the Internet, service outage or delays, computer difficulties or other technological glitches.
d. All entries must be received by 12:00 P.M. CT on April 18, 2008.
2. ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS
a. The Contest is open to all persons who are 18 years of age or older and reside in the Greater Chicago Land Metropolitan Area in Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin. Employees of WUSN(FM) (the “Station), its licensee, CBS Radio inc., CBS Corporation and affiliates, its advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners, other radio stations in the Greater Chicago Land Metropolitan Area in Illinois, north-west Indiana and southern Wisconsin and the members of their immediate families and/or households are ineligible to participate or win. Subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
b. Listeners are eligible to win a Station contest only once every sixty (60) days and a prize valued at $600 or more only once every six (6) months. Only one (1) winner per household is permitted in any contest.
c. Winners must hold a valid government issued ID and sign and return any required Affidavit of Eligibility and/or Publicity/Liability Release.
d Contestants are required to provide truthful information and the Station will reject and delete any entry that it discovers to be false or fraudulent. The Station will disqualify any entry from individuals who do not meet the eligibility requirements, and the Station will also delete any entry received from persons under the age of 13 in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act.
3. PRIZES
a. Fifty (50) prizes will be awarded. Each prize is two (2) passes to see Kenny Chesney at a live taping of an episode of the WTTW TV Series “Soundstage” at the WTTW Studios, located at 5400 N. St Louis Ave., Chicago, IL 60625 on April 21, 2008 at 8:00pm. (ARV: TBD)
b. All prizes or prize certificates may be picked up at the office of the Station at the address below. The winner will forfeit any prize or prize certificate not claimed within two (2) days of winning. In the event that a prize or prize certificate is mailed to the winner, it will be with the prior written consent of the winner and therefore, winner assumes the risk of its loss. The Station is not responsible for the safe arrival of a prize or prize certificate.
c. There is no substitution, non-transferable, transfer, or cash equivalent for prizes, except that Sponsor may, at its sole discretion, substitute prizes of comparable value or cash. The prizes are expressly limited to the item(s) listed above and do not include taxes, gratuities or any other expenses. Other restrictions may apply.
4. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION
a. Decisions of Station management with respect to the Contest are final.
b. A total of 50 (50) winners will be selected. Five (5) winners per day will be chosen. Winners will be selected in a random drawing of all eligible entries received on or around 12:00 P.M. CT each weekday from April 7,2008 through April 18, 2008. WINNER WILL BE CHOSEN FROM ALL ENTRIES RECEIVED UP TO THAT POINT.
c. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
d. Winner need not listen nor be present to win.
e. The winner will be contacted by the US*99.5 Promotions Department by phone following the drawing. If the winner cannot be contacted within three (3) days of the first notification attempt, an alternate winner will be selected in a random drawing of the remaining entries received. Winner(s) must execute and return any required Affidavit of Eligibility and/or Release of Liability Prize Acceptance Form by April 21, 2008 or prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be chosen randomly from all remaining eligible entries.
5. CONDITIONS
a. Payments of all federal, state and local taxes are solely the responsibility of the winners. Winners may be required to sign an IRS Form W-9 or the equivalent.
b. By participating in the Contest, the winner and his or her guest agree to have their names, voices, or likenesses used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this Contest without additional financial or other compensation, and, where legal, to sign a publicity release confirming such consent prior to acceptance of the prize.
c. Prior to awarding any prize or prize certificate, the Station in its sole discretion may require Contest winner and his or her guest, to sign a liability release, agreeing to hold the Station, its corporate licensee, its parent, subsidiary and affiliated corporations, and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the Contest.
d. The Station, in is sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process, the operation of the Station Web Site or is otherwise in violation of the rules. It further reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify the Contest if it is not capable of completion as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures of any sort.
e. The Station reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the Contest, including the substitution of a prize of equivalent value, which will become effective upon announcement. If due to circumstances beyond the control of the Station, any competition or prize related event is delayed, rescheduled, postponed, cancelled, or has a change of venue, the Station reserves the right, but not the obligation, to cancel or modify the Contest and shall not be required to award a substitute prize.
f. Failure to comply with the Contest rules may result in a Contestant’s disqualification, solely at the discretion of the Station.
g. The Station is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the Contest, or in the announcement of a prize.
h. Copies of the written Contest rules and a list of winners (when complete) are available during regular business hours at the main studio of WUSN, Two Prudential Plaza, Suite 1000, Chicago, IL 60601.
